  • ADAC is currently conducting specific Science and Technology Research in support of U.S. Coast Guard and other DHS maritime mission needs in modeling, technology solutions, sensor and platform development, integrated ice hazards programs, decision management support, community based observer, information fusion, mariner courseware development, education and more
  • ADAC is oriented to provide solutions to assist USCG in Search and Rescue, Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Response and Security missions
  • A key driver for ADAC is solutions that support the operational decision maker
  • ADAC is advancing a comprehensive research network that invests an array of academic and industry partners and as an unclassified activity seeks to support the Public Good
  • ADAC is increasingly balancing its efforts in near term with longer lead research, that can provide technology solutions across time spans ranging near term (in approx. 2 to 5 years) and long term (in 15-20 years)
  • In addition to innovating research, ADAC seeks to create innovative approaches to generating new research…in order to find better ways to reduce risk and enhance mission for the Arctic Operator
